The 134th Canton Fair
The 134th China Import and Export Fair (short for the Canton Fair) will be held in Guangzhou. The first phase focuses on advanced manufacturing, focusing on electronics, home appliances, vehicles and accessories, lighting, hardware and tools, etc. The exhibition will be held from October 15th to 19th.
This year’s Canton Fair has been expanded, with more innovative, smart and green products on display. The first phase of the Canton Fair covers five major sectors, including electronic home appliances and industrial manufacturing, providing opportunities for more high-tech and high value-added companies.
The first phase of the 134th Canton Fair ended successfully. There were 10,611 offline exhibitors. Overseas buyers were enthusiastic about participating in the exhibition, and on-site negotiations were good. The Canton Fair kicked off with a good start.
As of October 19, more than 100,000 overseas buyers had attended the event online. Exhibitors generally believe that overseas buyers are more willing to place orders and are expected to achieve more cooperation in the future. Among them, there were nearly 70,000 purchasers from countries near the Belt and Road, with an increase of 65.2% over the same period of the 133rd session. This session of the Canton Fair has attracted pre-registrations from buyers from 215 countries and regions. The import exhibition area has a total exhibition area of approximately 30,000 square meters. It is expected that more than 600 companies from 40 countries and regions will participate in the exhibition.
